保护性与隐秘性是基因检测包装的主要功能之一，重颜色包装给人以一种高精密的视觉体验，也对应了整体系统的基本色调，内金属体现其高强度保护性，与医疗设备有效高温消毒，利用形态突出主体，圆弧角使用让医疗产品给人的畏惧感降低，磨砂质感说明书充当保护壳也体现主体在包装中若隐若现的隐秘性。
